Florida-based video production company, InTroubleZone Productions, is now offering its innovative and affordable Hollywood-style TV commercial production services to businesses on a national level.
Naples, FL, July 7, 2008 - During recessionary times, marketing experts advise businesses to keep or increase their advertising budgets in order to gain the edge over their competitors. Instead, many business owners make the common costly mistake of cutting their advertising budgets altogether and as a result, their businesses don’t survive.
InTroubleZone Productions (ITZ), a Florida-based video production company, knows that when financial times are tough, businesses must continue to advertise and also try using different techniques in order to survive a sluggish market. ITZ is proud to announce the expansion of its innovative and affordable Hollywood-style episodic commercial production services to businesses on a national level.
Starting in early 2008, ITZ began producing a series of episodic commercials for Ft. Myers (FL) Toyota and the series proved to be a success right from the start. While many auto manufacturers’ and dealerships’ sales declined during February, Ft. Myers Toyota’s sales increased by a healthy 11% in that month alone. But ITZ President and CEO, Chuck Ardezzone, isn’t surprised. “These commercials are not your typical car commercials - they are entertaining and memorable, which are the two most important factors when it comes to TV advertising,” Ardezzone explains.
When Chuck starting fielding requests from auto dealerships in South Carolina and North Carolina, he knew ITZ was on to something special mainly because dealerships have severely reduced their TV advertising budgets this year. “I think it’s a huge mistake for businesses, especially auto dealers, to cut out their TV advertising budgets at a time when it’s critical to stay in the minds of consumers,” Ardezzone says. “Right now, they really need to focus on increasing their foot traffic by grabbing viewers’ attention and giving them a reason to visit their stores. “
ITZ’s episodic commercials are unique because they “start from the beginning” and actually follow a storyline. The first few episodes typically introduce the dealership’s staff and focus on that store’s history. This method helps build dealership and staff recognition with viewers. As a direct result of seeing the sales staff on TV, customers feel as if they already know each sales person the first time they walk through the showroom doors. This technique was proven to be the driving force behind Ft. Myers Toyota’s recent sales success.
“The beauty of these commercials is that not only will they appear on TV, but they can also be uploaded to the business’s website, YouTube, and other video-streaming websites to gain an even bigger viewing audience,” Ardezzone says, “People naturally want to see what’s going to happen next in each new episode. Businesses build customer familiarity and loyalty this way, which then also leads to an increase in foot traffic and sales.”

While the majority of males in Hollywood are doing nothing to help increase women’s visibility in the competitive film industry, Chuck Ardezzone, President and CEO of Florida video production company, InTroubleZone Productions, is blazing the trail.
Naples, FL, June 19, 2008 - It should come as no surprise that even though it’s the 21st Century and women are leading foreign countries, the film industry continues to be dominated by men. And while the number of women writers, producers, directors and editors is slowly beginning to rise, Hollywood’s ‘Males Only Club’ is not doing much in the way of helping women advance in this competitive industry.
According to the 2007 Celluloid Ceiling Report, women comprised 15% of all directors, executive producers, producers, writers, cinematographers, and editors working on the top 250 domestic grossing films. While this number may appear to be respectable, it is actually a 2% decline from 1998 and represents no change from 2006.
The ticket to women’s advancement in the perpetually male-dominated industry is going to have to stem from good ‘ole grassroots movements by independent film production companies. One such female-friendly production company is InTroubleZone Productions, a Hollywood-style video production company located in Naples, Florida.
InTroubleZone Productions (ITZ) was created by its high-energy, think-outside-of-the-box President and CEO, Chuck Ardezzone, 9 years ago in New York City. Ardezzone has been involved in all aspects of the film industry (actor, director, producer, cinematographer, and writer), so he knows firsthand how important women can be to fuel the film industry’s growth. “Women are invaluable, untapped resources in the film industry. They bring fresh perspectives and new production styles to a male-dominated industry, and that’s just what we need right now,” Ardezzone admits.
In April of 2008, ITZ hired its first female employee, Michelle Wood, as the company’s Marketing/PR Diva. Soon after she started working for ITZ, Michelle started the company’s blog, “The Estrogen Zone”, to showcase ITZ’s softer, more feminine side. “It’s tough being the only estrogen source in an office overflowing with testosterone, but I try to handle it gracefully. Plus, paybacks are a bitch - these guys never know what’s going to end up in one of my daily posts,” said Wood.
While Michelle is currently responsible for the company’s daily marketing and public relations tasks, she plans on learning cinematography, screenwriting, and video editing, and is currently in the process of producing her first automotive ad campaign with Ardezzone as her biggest cheerleader. “I know that with Michelle’s success comes ITZ’s success. We all work as a team here at ITZ, and Michelle has become an important part of our team,” Ardezzone states. “It doesn’t matter if my employees are men or women. If that person brings a lot of talent to ITZ’s table, and that talent brings us success, that’s all that matters to me.”
